Payroll Supervisor

Grade 4, FTE Salary £22,976-£25,192, 36 hours per week

The role

Drawing on your extensive payroll knowledge, you’ll manage the day-to-day payroll of 250 salaried staff and 500 casual staff who work with and for disabled children, young people and their families. Supervising a dedicated team, you’ll cover all aspects of payroll management to ensure our people and HMRC are paid the correct amount on time as well carry out basic accounting transactions within this role.

Your skills

As you’ll be using the Sage Line 200 system, it’s essential that you have extensive skills in computerised payroll systems. Your knowledge of payroll procedures, issues and regulations must include the ability to complete statutory returns’ specifically, HMRC & Pension returns. Ideally, you hold an IPPM Qualification and have previous experience in charitable or public sector organization. This role also requires excellent excel and communication skills.
