Advice and Support
KIDS are able to provide FREE advice to all play builder and pathfinder authorities with regards to developing inclusive play spaces. We provide advice and support on various issues around inclusive play including:
- policy development
- creating a strategic approach to inclusion
- staffing and supervision
- training
- models and case studies of good practice
- challenging negative attitudes
- the principles of inclusive design
- engaging with families and disabled children
- assessing inclusivity
- how to link to other teams / organisations / funding streams
- signposting to other partner organisations who may be able to support particular requirements
