Planning Inclusive Play

Endorsed at Level 3 by SkillsActive the Sector Skills Council for Active Leisure and Learning

This course enables participants to develop their knowledge and practical understanding of disablism, inclusive play and its application in policy development through reflective participation.

Lasting changes in practice and service management can be implemented which enable more disabled and non-disabled children to have real opportunities to play alongside one another in a variety of play and childcare environments.

This six-day course, run over three months, gives participants opportunities to apply their learning as the course progresses. Previous participants have included senior playworkers, club managers and team leaders as well as playwork and childcare development workers (10 - 14 participants).
