Volunteering in North West:

  • Play Work Volunteers

KIDS in Partnership with Stockport PIPS are running a play event on 13th February 2013, 1-4pm. We are looking for volunteers to help run play activities and to work alongside young disabled people who are volunteering and running activities.

  • Volunteer Newsletter Editor

KIDS are looking for a volunteer to produce a newsletter about KIDS' volunteering that is going on in Greater Manchester. If you are studying media at school or college and aged are between 14-25 why not get in touch? This opportunity will give you experience in gathering information about voluntary opportunities, selecting which ones to use, editing and laying out the newsletter.

  • Volunteer Musicians

KIDS in partnership with Stockport Action for Voluntary Youth are looking for volunteer musicians to support a music session on Wednesday 8th August. In the week leading to National Youth Week, Stockport Action for Voluntary Youth are running a one day activity based on music. The facilitator from Stockport Music Academy is looking for support in encouraging the young people on the session to sing, play instruments, write lyrics and record their song. This event takes place in Stockport. All equipment is provided and volunteers who fill in a registration form will be eligible to claim back travel expenses.
