Volunteers needed for Virgin London Marathon 2012

 Event Support Volunteers 

KIDS is looking for people to come and help us cheer on our runners at the biggest running event of the year, the London Marathon! We have 41 runners all set to raise in excess of £61,500 for disabled children, young people and their families across the UK and we want to make sure we’re out in force to cheer them on and keep them going on those tough miles!

Marathon day is lots of fun and you’re sure to have a fantastic day, and our runners are going to appreciate your cheers so very much! You will be joining other like minded people and your role is to simply whoop and cheer our runners on and to help where you can. We have a post race reception so you may be asked to help out here also, this is held at Central Hall Westminster.

You can expect to be fully briefed before the event and on the day, we will provide you with a KIDS t-shirt, refreshments and of course we will reimburse your travel expenses.

Volunteer Masseurs 

Each year KIDS has a team of runners who undertake the London Marathon for us and fundraise an incredible amount of money towards our services. After running 26 miles we hold a reception for our runners where they can come to meet their friends and family, and also receive a massage.

We are looking for willing volunteers with the necessary experience who are able to volunteer their time and skills to help us look after our dedicated runners! 

In return for your kind support KIDS will will provide you with a KIDS t-shirt, refreshments and of course we will reimburse your travel expenses.
