Volunteer Fundraiser
Purpose: To raise funds and profile of KIDS.
Location: In your local community
Period covered: Ongoing
Time commitment: This is completely up to you, it will depend on when we have collections. When collections take place we normally ask volunteers to help for around 2-3 hours.
Key tasks
- Taking part in bucket collections
- Developing links with local community
- Raising awareness of KIDS’ services in the local community
Skills required
- Good communication skills a friendly personality
- Able to work in a team and individually
- Able to lift and carry heavy objects
Support given
- Full induction on all aspects of this role
- All appropriate materials are provided
- Support available on collection days and throughout the working week via a direct supervisor
