Collection Box Coordinator


Purpose: To raise funds and profile of KIDS.

Location: Home based, and out in your local community

Period covered: Ongoing

Time commitment: This is completely up to you, but preferably a minimum of one day a month.

Key tasks

  • Placing and emptying collection boxes in local community
  • Keeping a record of who has collection boxes and when they need collecting
  • Keeping a record of money collected from each box and dates
  • Counting money received from collection boxes
  • Writing/ giving certificates to local supporters

Skills required

  • Good organisation skills
  • Good communication skills and a friendly personality 
  • Good administration skills, including an ability to keep accurate records
  • Self-motivated

Support given

  • Full induction on all aspects of this role
  • All appropriate materials are provided
  • Support available throughout the working week via a direct supervisor
