Collection Box Coordinator
Purpose: To raise funds and profile of KIDS.
Location: Home based, and out in your local community
Period covered: Ongoing
Time commitment: This is completely up to you, but preferably a minimum of one day a month.
Key tasks
- Placing and emptying collection boxes in local community
- Keeping a record of who has collection boxes and when they need collecting
- Keeping a record of money collected from each box and dates
- Counting money received from collection boxes
- Writing/ giving certificates to local supporters
Skills required
- Good organisation skills
- Good communication skills and a friendly personality
- Good administration skills, including an ability to keep accurate records
- Self-motivated
Support given
- Full induction on all aspects of this role
- All appropriate materials are provided
- Support available throughout the working week via a direct supervisor
