Gifts In Kind and Secondments
Did you know that your company can donate a whole variety of products*, time or services as a Gift In Kind to KIDS?
These donations make a huge contribution to our work and in turn to the lives of disabled children and young people across the country.
Your products may add value to KIDS goodie bags at events such as the KIDS Halloween Party or our high profile Gala Dinner at St Paul’s Cathedral. You may also be able to offer us something to include in a fundraising auction, or even a product to help us with our work in our office, such as equipment or software.
Here are some of the Gift In Kind donations that we have enjoyed benefitting from recently:
à Music royalties company PPL, its contractors and PPL volunteers donated their time and building expertise to refit two run down kitchens at our Chelsea and Lady Allen Adventure Playgrounds
à Von Essen donated a private party for 20 at Cliveden
à Prada donated a two week internship in
à The HBOS Group donated executive seating and hospitality for eight people at a Premiership game between Manchester United and Bolton United
Your company could also support KIDS by seconding a member of staff or taking part in our SkillShare programme. Not only does KIDS gain access to valuable expertise but employee volunteers have a unique opportunity to use their skills and experience in a very different setting.

Do you have a particular skill that you would like to share? Whether it’s coaching a young person to develop th,eir football skills, helping a group of teenagers to mix music or helping a child to learn how to repair a bike there are plenty of opportunities to get involved.
