Training & Consultancy

Our extensive training department offers endorsed  training to play, playwork  and childcare professionals who wish to include disabled children within their mainstream settings.  We expect to continue the development of our training department in facilitating the access of disabled children and young people into universal services.

What training KIDS provides:

KIDS National Development Department training  offers a range of customised equality and inclusion learning opportunities for challenging disablism.  We work from induction to Senior Management levels primarily in the playwork, childcare and youthwork sectors and specific trainings as listed below.

All KIDS National Development Department training courses approach inclusion as a way of working in partnership with disabled children and young people. KIDS NDD training promotes inclusive practices from a rights-based perspective that is framed within a social model of disability.
