KIDS continues to receive vital support from local companies and organisations

22 Jul 2010

Local companies give vital support to KIDS Yorkshire and Humber region, and here's how!

Cranswick Country Foods at Preston have chosen KIDS as their favoured charity. Their golf day held in April raised over £25,000 for KIDS.

Vivergo Fuels pledged to raise £30,000 for KIDS and they have been the main funders of the new conservatory extension at the Chanterlands Avenue premises. The funds have facilitated block paving in the garden, an accessible site for wheelchair users and has transformed a small toilet space into a large accessible toilet with changing area.

Ernst and Young have chosen KIDS as their charity of the year for the next two years from July 2010.

They have said:  “Ernst and Young have a global commitment to making a difference through supporting charitable, educational and not for profit organisations. The Ernst & Young Hull Office wanted to ensure this commitment benefited a locally based charity which makes a real difference to local people in Hull. KIDS stood out, not only because of their support for disabled children and young adults but also for their support of the families too. We are really proud to support this worthy charity and are looking forward to providing our time as well as fund-raising over the next two years."

Geoff Houlton & Sons have chosen KIDS as their charity of the year in 2010.

Rollits Solicitors give staff time and commitment to supporting KIDS by providing information and advice on local charitable trusts
