Our Finances
We use all funds available to us to provide services that enable disabled children, young people and their families to enjoy their lives. KIDS does not have any investments; nor does it have any hidden reserves. Any donation to KIDS will be spent towards our work with disabled children and young people.
Every year, KIDS must raise £1 million from voluntary donations to enable our work to continue. This supplements the £8 million that we receive from local authorities and government to provide specific commissioned services. We do not aim to make a profit but any surplus is used to improve our services for disabled children and young people in the future.
Our full financial statements, which meet the requirements of the Charity Commission, are available below. Previous years' financial statements can be accessed via the Charity Commission website.
