Funky neon ball

Jufri wanted to make a difference and to help children who are less privileged than himself. He decided to get a group of his friends together and organise a ball which would raise money for two charities – one of which was KIDS! Not only did the event raise a superb £20,000 but it was a great opportunity for lots of friends to get together and have some fun! The Funky Neon Ball was a fabulous night of dinner, entertainment and dancing.

“I first heard about KIDS through my brother who has been on a KIDS' committee for a few years now so I did some research. Once I started reading about the work KIDS do with disabled children I knew immediately I wanted to support them! I really enjoyed organising the Funky Neon Ball and got all my friends and family involved. The event was a success and we raised more money than I could have hoped for. I’m so pleased the money will be spent on KIDS projects throughout the UK.”

We would love more people to organise their own events for KIDS and we will help you every step of the way! For ideas and support please don’t hesitate to contact our fundraising team on 020 7359 3635 or email fundraising@kids.org.uk
