Harborne Carnival

The Harborne Carnival is the second largest street carnival in Britain, after Notting Hill, and has been running for 14 years. What better way to spend a summer’s day than by visiting the numerous stalls and activities, not to mention entertainment for the whole family? KIDS have a stall this year so come and say hello!

KIDS 40th Fire Walk Challenge

This summer KIDS is celebrating its 40th anniversary year with an exciting Fire Walk Challenge!KIDS are looking for 40 participants to take part in the Fire Walk to raise £8,000 for services across the West Midlands. This event is fun for the whole family, for those coming to support our fire walkers on the night, there will be a BBQ, children’s entertainment, craft activities, cupcakes and raffle. Get hot under the collar for KIDS and help us reach our 40 walker target!
Form a team with your work colleagues or if you are part of a sports club, why not take on the Fire Walk as your next team challenge?
If you are at school or college you can take part too (over 16’s only); if you are under 16, why not ask your teachers to get involved?

KIDS 1940’s Vintage & Craft Fair

As part of KIDS 40th anniversary celebrations, join us for a day of vintage goodies, including a classic tea party and a slice of nostalgia as KIDS takes you back to the good old days! Our Vintage Fair will have everything you need for a perfect day out: vintage clothing stalls, jewellery, accessories, craft stalls and homewares. There will also be a KIDS stall and retro raffle!

BUPA Great Birmingham Run

The leading half marathon in the Midlands, formerly the Birmingham Half Marathon, is back this year and 2011 promises to be the best year yet. The BUPA Great Birmingham Run is open to runners of all abilities and with 15,000 entries available there is no excuse not to get your running shoes out and sign up for KIDS. As one of the major West Midlands based fundraising events, KIDS would like to establish this event as our event of the fundraising calendar, so get registering now!
If you are a regular runner, or part of a running club, perhaps you are looking to just get healthier, or maybe you just want to dress up in a funny outfit and take part just for the fun of it, KIDS is looking for runners in this year’s event.
