Featured Event: Mazda London Triathlon

In August each year 10,000 people arrive at London’s Docklands to participate in the largest triathlon in the world. In 2009 the KIDS team did a great job, tackling the sudden moments of heat followed by the heavy rain, all the while keeping spirits high and completing the entire course.

“Can I say that it was a pleasure competing for you and your team. It made such a difference to have you shout support as I ran the course…I had set myself a goal of completing it in 3hr ish which I was told was ambitious but not impossible goal (bare in mind it was my first one), and with your encouragement I completed it in 2hr 30 and 3 seconds. I was and still am over the moon with the result.”

 Matthew Collins, August 2009
