Featured Event: Great South Run

"When Cat signed me up I was in a lot of doubt to say the least...ten miles seemed like a long way...four months later, I did it! The Great South Run is a ten mile course through Portsmouth; past the sea front, many historical sites and all the supporters cheering you on. 18,500 people take part each year and raise much needed funds for charity. Last year the KIDS team raised over £2500.

Virgin London Marathon 2011
17 Apr 2011Feeling inspired and ready for the challenge of a lifetime? Then why not join the KIDS team and run the Virgin London Marathon 2011! The Virgin London Marathon has been one of the UK’s great annual events since 1981. In addition to being one of the top five international marathons run over the traditional distance of 42.195 km (26 miles and 385 yards), the London Marathon is also a large, celebratory sporting festival bringing together over 35,000 runners and thousands more spectators. According to the race organisers, the London Marathon is now the largest annual fundraising event in the world.
Cycle London to Paris
11 May 2011 - 15 May 2011Cycle London to Paris and take in the beautiful sites and cultures of both sides of the English Channel. Join the KIDS team and set yourself one of the greatest cycle challenges in Europe, an amazing five day experience cycling from one capital to the other. Cycling through beautiful English villages and into the stunning countryside of rural France you’ll follow the River Somme and pass areas associated with World War I until you reach Paris. The sight of the Eiffel Tower, our finishing point, will evoke a real sense of achievement.
The Asics British 10K London Run
11 Jul 2011Run one of the world’s most popular road race routes through the heart of central London; the Asics British 10K London Run. Every year over 20,000 British and international runners take part in this popular event, and KIDS has official charity places available for this year’s run.
Mazda London Triathlon 2011
7 Aug 2011 - 8 Aug 2011Take part in the Mazda London Triathlon 2011, the largest triathlon in the world, whilst raising vital funds for KIDS. Run, cycle and swim as part of the KIDS team; either individually or as part of a team. The London Triathlon is the ultimate challenge and an experience not be missed.
