Full Time Equivalent (FTE) Salary: Grade 5, £20,598 per annum
Hours per week: Part time, 18 hours per week. Permanent
Location: Wakefield

The role:

KIDS the national charity and leading service provider for disabled children and their families, wish to recruit to a Designated Keyworker within their successful Wakefield Early Support, Advice, Information and Liaison (WESAIL) Service.

WESAIL is a first stop for families in the Wakefield District with children with special educational needs and disabilities to receive advice, information and support.

A Designated Keyworker’s role is to help ensure that the support parents receive is well planned, coordinated and targeted to their child’s specific needs.

You must be willing to travel throughout Wakefield; have excellent communication skills, essential experience includes a professional background within the statutory/voluntary sector, experience of negotiation and advocacy within multi-agency settings and be educated to at least NVQ level 3, level 4 is desirable.
