Consultation on developing a new inclusive play space KIDS was commissioned by High Green Development Trust (HGDT) to lead a consultation at Paces Campus in Sheffield to establish what would be required to develop a new inclusive play space, providing a welcoming space for a wide range of users. Paces Campus is managed by HGDT. It has Paces Conductive Education School and resources centre for disabled children on site. The campus also offers a range of activities for childcare, afterschool clubs, art sessions, sports facilities, sensory rooms and outreach service and training. The consultation engaged with the people who ran the services on the campus, disabled and non-disabled children along with adults who used the services and anyone else who had an interest in the development and wanted to take part. Our report includes information about the consultation process and its results, as well as the resulting design proposals and the final reported recommendations.
