Michael McIntyre backs KIDS charity Christmas campaign

05 December 2014

Michael McIntyre today helped KIDS to launch the Christmas appeal "Donate A Joke" by appearing in a special video to promote the campaign. www.kids.org.uk/DonateAJoke

KIDS is a charity that works with 8,000 disabled children, young people and their families each year. Their work empowers young people to achieve their aims while giving parents and carers the skills and confidence to nurture and develop their child.

The charity is calling on people to donate a joke by posting a video on Facebook or Twitter using the hashtag #DonateAJoke, to donate £3 by texting JOKE03 £3 to70070 and then sharing with friends and family to do likewise.

By using humour at Christmas, KIDS hopes to be able to raise awareness and essential funds to support their life changing work.

Caroline Stevens, KIDS CEO commented, "We are truly grateful to Michael McIntyre for helping us promote this campaign. We really need the public to get behind us now and support our work.  The children and young people that we care for need your support more than ever so your donations will be very much appreciated".
