KIDS' West Midlands Early Years Setting maintained their Ofsted inspection outcome of Outstanding last year and now they are celebrating the further achievement of being awarded the Quality Assurance kite mark for Effective Early Learning (EEL) by the Centre for Research in Early Childhood.
The process was undertaken over a 18 month period, looking at ten dimensions of quality and taking into account views and opinions from relevant stakeholders. This is then reflected upon and an action plan put into place to implement continuous improvement.
Whilst the award is for three years, a reflective report has to be submitted annually to measure and ensure on-going quality.
Karen Barber, Assistant Director for the West Midlands regions said 'I am really delighted for the Setting and the staff. They provide an excellent service and they have now received further recognition supporting that alongside the Outstaning Ofsted report.'
