Youth Club

Youth Club is a session for young people to socialise with their peers in a relaxed setting, with a range of activities every week as well as free time and a tuck shop.   



How does the service work?

The young people come to the session and have half an hour to settle then there is an activity for an hour from either in house or external professionals. They also go to local facilities to other activities such as swimming or ice skating. External professionals provide activities like- Dance (salsa, bhangra, street), boxing, golf, yoga, wheelchair basketball and workshops.

But also in house activates such as bingo, pool/ darts competitions, arts and crafts and sports. After the activity the rest of the session is free time where the young people have access to the computer room / sensory room / pool table / darts board / board games / arts and crafts and the sofas/bean bags to relax on.

Who can attend?The service benefits young people between the ages of 13 and 25, with a range of disabilities and needs. The sessions helps support them with any needs and struggles from homework to relationships.

What does the service provide?

The service is a very social group which helps young people with their social skills, this boosts their confidence and social wellbeing.
