Thumbs Up Youth ClubThumbs up is a drop in youth centre where young people have time with peers out of a school environment, this gives a more relaxed and chilled atmosphere.Who is it for?Disabled young people aged 14-19 years old.

ActivitiesAll activities are freely chosen by young people who put together a programme of activities that include swimming, cinema, bowling, walks or even a night in with mates and a pizza.
Thumbs up have a low staff ratio to young people.
Holiday Activity Days
The activity days are always popular with the young people! Being described as ‘awesome days out’, the group plan what they would like to do and are supported by staff to do it. Having fun packed days and giving opportunities to young people is what this club is all about.

Self referrals can be made direct to KIDS or to your social worker.
Young people need to have a Hampshire Gateway Card. You can apply for a card here: http://www3.hants.gov.uk/gatewaycard
Places are allocated as fairly as possible and cancellation/waiting lists are in use. We will inform you of dates in advance and make clear which sessions your young person has been given.
