KIDS runs groups for young disabled people to enable them to discuss relationships and sexuality matters in an open and supportive environment, one of which is based in the South West.
How does the service work?“My daughter finds these groups very interesting. Socially it helps her to fix and build confidence''
It empowers people to have the knowledge around relationships and sexuality. For young people, it ensures that they have increased confidence and are able to make informed choices.
For professionals, it gives them the confidence and knowledge to be able to tackle the issues of relationships and sexuality in a fun, non-judgemental and accessible way.
Who can benefit? “Meetings are sensitively organised to mix learning with fun"
