A range of short breaks for families with disabled children, aged 0-18, living in the London Borough of Camden. These breaks can take place both in or outside the home.

How does the service work?

Each family is allocated a short breaks practitioner who will provide from 3hours of respite per week.  Our workers will work closely in partnership with parents to focus on the individual needs and wishes of the child.

The service is regularly reviewed and closely monitored by the service manager.
Just a quick note to say how pleased and grateful I am for the invaluable support 'X' is getting through “Short Breaks”. Worker and 'X' have bonded really well and  the time they spend together promotes safety and companionship, as well as an essential break for me
